Baby Driver
Baby Driver I have chosen to write about the opening scene from the movie Baby Driver. In the scene, Baby(Ansel Elgort) drives 3 adults to a bank which they rob and he drives the 'getaway car' and in doing so manages to dodge the police chasing them all whilst listening to his playlist on his phone. This scene uses close up shots, medium shots and long shots... The close up shots are used to show the concentration on Baby's face while he is driving and avoiding the police. It is also used to show fear among the passengers of the car as they don't have any idea if they are going to crash or get caught by the police. This shot helps the audience to see the difference in concentration levels of the driver and the passengers and how worried they are in comparison to each other. The medium shots are used to show the characters in the car in relation with what is happening outside. The medium shots help the audience to get an idea of the characters surroundin
